Canoeing
Paddle out on beautiful Lake Andrew!
Hopewell provides canoes, paddles and life preservers. Canoeing must be supervised according to approved policies. For YOUTH groups, Hopewell provides a certified lifeguard for an hourly fee of $60 per hour. Groups of ADULTS, FAMILIES, and STAFF may provide their own certified lifeguard or implement our safety procedures, which include always wearing a life preserver, following posted safety regulations and using a designated checkout system. For your safety, guest groups are advised to provide a person to be on duty and accessible to each separate boating location who has certification in first aid and CPR. Swimming is not permitted in the lake. If your group wants to just come out for the day to enjoy some time canoeing, an additional $2 per person day use fee will be charged.
